7. VDV-Zukunftskongress Autonomes Fahren im Öffentlichen Verkehr / 7th VDV-Congress on Future Autonomous Driving within Public Transport

Der Zukunftskongress Autonomes Fahren im öffentlichen Verkehr findet das nächste Mal gemeinsam mit der 14. VDV-Elektrobuskonferenz und Fachmesse in Berlin statt.

Nach dem „Dürfen“ kommt nun das „Können“. Das hochautomatisierte Fahren im SAE Level 4 wird weltweit getestet, bald auch in Deutschland. Das Bundesministerium für Digitales und Verkehr hat eine Förderrichtlinie geschaffen, die erste Projekte ermöglicht.

Fahrzeughersteller und Zulieferunternehmen entwickeln zunehmend Shuttles, die sowohl die technischen Anforderungen des autonomen Fahrens in bestimmten Betriebsbereichen als auch die harten Anforderungen des täglichen Linien- und On Demand Einsatz im ÖPNV erfüllen sollen.

Auf der 7. Ausgabe des Zukunftskongresses zum autonomen Fahren im öffentlichen Verkehr wird der Aufbruch in eine neue Zeit greifbar. Wir werden in einer begleitenden Ausstellung Shuttles vor Ort haben und die Vernetzung von Machern der Zukunft erleben.

Was können die zahlreichen Anbieter von Robo-Taxis in den USA – wann kommen Waymo, Cruise und Motional nach Europa – oder was machen deutsche Zulieferer in den USA? Welches Fahrzeug fährt in Deutschland als erstes fahrerlos im öffentlichen Straßenraum?

Was sind die Ziele und Inhalte der Projekte, die vom Bund und den Ländern gefördert werden und wie schaffen wir gemeinsame Grundlagen für die Skalierung? Gibt es noch einen weiteren Förderaufruf?

Auch der internationale Blick auf Aktivitäten in Europa und der Welt wird nicht fehlen.

Dieses Mal findet der Kongress zum autonomen Fahren parallel zur 14. VDV-Elektrobuskonferenz und Fachmesse statt. Sie können auch die aktuellsten E- und Wasserstoffbusse besichtigen und sich mit weiteren Hunderten Branchenkollegen vernetzten.

Sie sehen schon: Wir haben großes vor – und würden uns sehr freuen, wenn Sie wieder oder erstmalig dabei sind, wenn über die Zukunft des autonomen Fahrens im ÖPNV diskutiert wird.

The next Future Congress on Autonomous Driving in Public Transport will be held together with the 14th VDV-Electric Bus Conference and exhibition in Berlin.

After the "may" now comes the "can". Highly automated driving in SAE Level 4 is being tested worldwide, soon also in Germany. The Federal Ministry of Digital Affairs and Transport has created a funding guideline that makes the first projects possible.

Vehicle manufacturers and supplier companies are increasingly developing shuttles that are designed to meet both the technical requirements of autonomous driving in certain operational areas and the tough demands of daily scheduled and on-demand use in public transport.

At the 7th edition of the Future Congress on Autonomous Driving in Public Transport, the dawn of a new era will be tangible. We will have shuttles on site in an accompanying exhibition and experience the networking of makers of the future.

What can the numerous providers of robo-taxis in the USA do - when are Waymo, Cruise and Motional coming to Europe - or what are German suppliers doing in the USA? Which vehicle will be the first to drive driverless on public roads in Germany?

What are the goals and contents of the projects funded by the federal and state governments and how do we create common ground for scaling? Is there another call for funding?

The international view on activities in Europe and the world will not be missing either.

This time the congress on autonomous driving will take place in parallel with the 14th VDV-Electric Bus Conference and exhibition. You can also see the latest e- and hydrogen buses and network with hundreds more industry colleagues.

As you can see, we have big plans - and would be delighted if you were there again or for the first time when the future of autonomous driving in public transport is discussed.
