Mit dem Zukunftskongress Autonomes Fahren

Elektrobusse etablieren sich mehr und mehr im Stadtbild. Viele Verkehrsunternehmen planen eine vollständige Umrüstung ihrer Flotte in den kommenden Jahren. Auf unserer Veranstaltung werfen wir einen Blick auf den aktuellen Stand bei Technik, Betriebshöfen und Werkstätten. Unternehmen berichten von ihren Erfahrungen mit Elektromobilität im ländlichen Raum und in Großstädten. Referierende zeigen, welche Brandschutzmaßnahmen und Schulungen für Personal notwendig sind. Außerdem widmen wir uns alternativen Antriebskonzepten: von Trolley über Batterietechnik bis zu Wasserstoff.

Erstmalig integrieren wir in diesem Jahr eine weitere Veranstaltung: den VDV-Zukunftskongress Autonomes Fahren im Öffentlichen Verkehr. Neben der Digitalisierung und der Elektromobilität gehört Autonomes Fahren zu den großen Innovationsthemen unserer Zeit. Das hochautomatisierte Fahren steht vor Piloteinführung in Deutschland. Der gesetzlichen Erlaubnis folgen nun die ersten Projekte. Den aktuellen Stand diskutieren öffentliche Verkehrsunternehmen vor Ort gemeinsam mit Industrie, Wirtschaft und Politik.

Die VDV-Elektrobuskonferenz und Fachmesse geben wie gewohnt Hilfe bei anstehenden Infrastrukturinvestitionen, bei der Wahl des Energieträgers sowie bei Förderprogrammen für das eigene Unternehmen. Damit bieten wir eine gute Plattform zur Information, dem Austausch und zur Vernetzung – in diesem Jahr erweitert um den VDV-Zukunftskongress Autonomes Fahren.

• E-Bus Forum 1 - mehr als 750 Sitzplätze im Auditorium für die Hauptkonferenz
• E-Bus Forum 2 - mehr als 150 Sitzplätze für fachspezifische Themenblöcke rund um die E-Mobilität
• Forum Autonomes Fahren - mehr als 300 Sitzplätze für den VDV-Zukunftskongress Autonomes Fahren im öffentlichen Verkehr in der Convention Hall I
• Convention Hall ll und erstmals auch im Saal Europa - mehr als 5.000 m² Ausstellungsfläche

Electric buses are becoming more and more established in the urban landscape. Many transport companies are planning a complete conversion of their fleet in the coming years. At our event, we will take a look at the current status of technology, depots and workshops. Companies will report on their experiences with electromobility in rural areas and large cities. Speakers will show what fire protection measures and training for personnel are necessary. We will also be looking at alternative drive concepts, from trolleys and battery technology to hydrogen.

For the first time, we are integrating another event this year: the VDV-Future Congress Autonomous Driving in Public Transport. Alongside digitalization and electromobility, autonomous driving is one of the major innovation topics of our time. Highly automated driving is about to be piloted in Germany. The legal permission is now being followed by the first projects. The current status will be discussed by public transport companies on site together with industry, business and politics.

The VDV-Electric Bus Conference and exhibition will provide help with upcoming infrastructure investments, with the choice of energy source and with support programs for one's own company. Thus, we offer a good platform for information, exchange and networking - this year extended by the VDV Future Congress Autonomous Driving.
